YUPO from life.

.

The paint was one stroke with a loaded brush of pigment.  I did not disturb the paint as I wanted it to dry naturally. The vase was the only place I used a pencil to keep it accurate.

Paintings

This is the fourth watercolor that I have done on
YUPO which is a plastic not paper.

The only drawing is the outline of the vase so I can get it correct.  The rest is done free hand with a loaded brush of pigment.  I do not go back into that stroke.

I framed it with a Azure blue liner on white.  Brushed gold frame.  24 x 30.

Painting on Location

Take time to smell the roses....outside of course! I have several watercolors that I painted on site in Florida.....only problem was that I had to watch out for 'gators!
