  I painted on a bridge along the Detroit river south of the boat launch at Erie Metro Park.

This is the 7th painting I have done on YUPO. 

I only use pencil to draw my vase and cup to get an accurate line.

Everything else is freely painted with a loaded brush.

April 1999 :  Learned how to delute my Italian coffee by adding just the right amount of hot water!

Hotel Belvedere, Bellagio, two wonderful weeks of painting and exploring the lakes and gardens.

There is a location in the movie "Lord of the Rings" that I visited and it was fun to know about the
history of this villa and the secret excape used durning the 2nd World War....so much history!

A memory from my painting trip to Giverney, France.  This is a Gift shop across the street

from Monet's Gardens.  I bought some poppy seeds here thinking I was going to grow the

same huge poppies that were blooming in Monet's garden.  I did have tiny poppies grow

where I did not plant them....in the kennel!
